I would say that the best of the modern corvettes (C4-7) is the C5, while it is a tie between C2 and C3 in terms of looks for the classic 'Vettes. I lean towards C3 because it had looks on top of an sail able 500bhp engine.
I was going to do a Corvette WYRO today... haha.

I like the C5 with the European tail lights and rear fog. However, they still had red turn signals over here until just now with the C7.
Of course the C7 is the best-performing. Most cars, especially high-performance cars, always get faster and shit, and the Corvette is no exception. I do like the C4 ZR1 though, with its DOHC engine and glass roof. Later performance models (C5 Z06, Z6 Z06 and ZR1) didn't have the removable roof which is a bummer, but the C7 Z06/7 finally has it!

I'd probably rank looks C2 - C3 - C5 - C1 - C6 - C7 - C4.
Obviously, C7 is the best performing, though C5 and C6 were huge generations for setting up the super car performance we are getting in the C7. Especially starting with the C5 gen and the C5-R

I think the C4 looks best, but I'm biased.
C7 better be the best-performing, or something is wrong.

Hey of it's what you like, then that's as good enough answer for me. More power to ya for liking what is seen by most as the blandest, boring and most poorly designed of the corvette family.
